SOBO
South Broadways is one of the most dynamic and transforming neighborhood in the Mile High City and I am proud to be part of every single change of it...
![]() Tucked in between Delaware and Logan on the west and east, and Dartmouth and Mississippi on the south and north, there is neighborhood that is certainly worth your time and attention: South Broadway, or recently abbreviated, SOBO. A long-time shopping and dining destination for downtowners, SOBO continues to add to a long list of attractions, not to mention the residential areas that are being revitalized and built-up. If you love the south side of Denver but some urban grit still appeals to you, SOBO is your perfect spot to call home.

![]() Dining + Entertainment
SOBO was one of the first neighborhood’s to host the surge of Denver’s food scene. You can find foods of almost every price point and ethnicity on South Broadway. If you’re looking for unique and spectacular options, try the experimental small plates (with a side of whimsy) at the Zagat-rated Beatrice + Woodsley; breakfast and brunch at Sputnik or the Morning Collective; Italian-inspired dishes at GOZO; Latin-American fare at Leña; or Asian street food at Cho77. For quick-bites, Illegal Pete’s has a great patio and queso; Atomic Cowboy serves up a huge slice of pizza; and Spicy Basil offers a wide variety of Asian carryout. The whole South Broadway region is riddled with bars, too. Shoot pool and grab beers at The Hornet; stop into The Irish Rover for the perfect pub experience; or grab an artsy cocktail at La Cour. For treats, pop into Sweet Action Ice Cream or the Azucar Bakery. And coffee amounts at CORVUS, Bardo Coffee House, Metropolis, and Amethyst, just to name a few. One of the best things about the SOBO area is the amount there is to do right within the neighborhood. It’s not just dining and shopping, but music, comedy, and other fun activities. View an independent film at the Mayan Theater; go bowling or sing karaoke at Punch Bowl Social; or catch live shows at The Hi-Dive, Herman’s Hideaway, or Three Kings Tavern. |
