In Cherry Hills, the draw is all about location. The area is surrounded by destination spots for all sorts of shopping and entertainment. Probably most noteworthy are all of the shopping malls practically equidistant to the neighborhood. To the north, it’s a quick drive to Cherry Creek Shopping Mall and its sister Cherry Creek North shopping district. Just just south and west you’ll find the expansive Park Meadows shopping mall. The Streets of SouthGlenn are nearby, as well. There are also convenience stores in the DTC area, such as Ikea.
In terms of entertainment, the drive to downtown is an easy one. But there is plenty to entertain locally, too. There are many nearby movie theaters, including the posh Landmark Theater in DTC and Chez Artiste, which features independent films. RESTAURANTS/GROCERIES
Cherry Hills is surrounded by well-known restaurants. Right within the neighborhood, find excellent Japanese cuisine at Cherry Hills Sushi Co. or checkout fine-dining at Pino’s Place. In Cherry Creek, you have incredible options such as the Halcyon Hotel, Cherry Creek Grill, and True Food Kitchen. Heading south to DTC, make sure to try Il Fornaio, YaYa’s Euro Bistro, The Wooden Table, and Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse.
As a suburban community, there is no shortage of well-known coffee chains, like Starbucks and Caribou Coffee. If you’d like to branch out into some local roasts, look into Nixon’s, Francy’s Gourmet, or Dirt Coffee Bar, which offers great coffee and supports youth on the autism spectrum. In Cherry Hills, you’ll also have access to every grocery and convenience store that calls Colorado home, including Trader Joe’s; so whatever your tastes for grocery shopping and dining at home, they are sure to be met within the Cherry Hills area. |

By nature of the area, Cherry Hills is committed to recreation and green space. A few local park areas include Three Pond, Woodie Hollow, and John Meade.
