Welcome to Hilltop
A SMALL BUT LONGSTANDING DENVER COMMUNITY WITH SOME OF THE MOST HIGH-END LIVING IN THE CITY.
Located between Colorado Boulevard and Quebec on the west and east, and 6th Avenue Parkway and Alameda to the north and south, Hilltop is a small but longstanding Denver community with some of the most high-end living the city’s residential neighborhoods have to offer. Established in the 1940-50s, the homes are now a mix of old and new, built with large-scale floorpans and medium, comfortable lots. While the neighborhood itself is quiet and primarily residential, its location is in a prime spot for all sorts of Denver’s best recreation and convenience.
SHOPPING/ENTERTAINMENT
Settled in between major roads, it takes no time to get to all of the dining, shopping, and entertainment offered in many areas of Denver. Whether scooting downtown, to Cherry Creek, or up to Northfield, there is much to entertain just a short distance away.
But Hilltop itself has much to offer its residents. The Civic Association is a great way to keep up with neighborhood news and special events. For dinner, grab a burger at Park Burger Hilltop or contemporary Italian food at Locanda del Borgo. There is a great deli called The Cheese Company nearby. For ice cream and other treats, check out High Point Creamery, or grab a coffee from Novo. |
RESTAURANTS/GROCERIES
Whether shopping for groceries or shopping for pleasure, Hilltop is surrounded by most of Denver’s premiere shopping experiences. To the north, it’s a quick jaunt up Quebec to Northfield Shopping Center; to the southwest is the Cherry Creek shopping mall and Cherry Creek North. Alameda is a major vein through many sectors of commercial Denver; and just over Hilltop’s western border, the shops lining 6h Avenue are worth a leisurely stroll.
Because each of Hilltop’s borders are major roadways through the city, it is possible to quickly access any grocery store; and there are other nearby conveniences—gas stations, multiple Target locations, and many options for personal health and care. |
PARKS/RECREATION
Hilltop neighborhood itself has a park-like setting, with aged trees and cared-for properties. However, the community is very proud of and active in their own Cranmer Park. Another nearby park is Crestmoor Park, which offers lush lawns and jogging trails. For other recreation and fitness facilities, there are options in every direction, depending on which route best suits your schedule and commute.
There are a few notable landmarks in the Hilltop neighborhood as well that garner some recognition, including the Joshel House, the Amter Residence, and Cranmer House. |
